SA Landscaping also offer Scarifying, an essential lawn care treatment that helps keep your grass healthy and thriving. Over time, lawns can develop a build-up of thatch, a layer of dead grass, moss and organic debris that sits on the soil surface. When this layer becomes too thick, it can prevent water, air and vital nutrients from reaching the roots.

That’s okay, after you have received your FREE site visit from us we will create you a Planting Plan based on what details we have gathered from you and your property and come up with a plan for you.

What about aftercare?

We check in with you to see how its going and we can even set you up with our Garden Maintenance Team for them to continuously maintain and keep your new Flowerbeds and Lawns looking beautiful!

When is not a good time of year to do this?

Summer, it’s just too hot! Most other times of the year are generally good unless the ground is frozen. If you are considering Bulbs then Autumn is the time for these. Root balling season for your Trees and Hedges normally begins in October.

Do I need Bark Mulch?

We normally allocate the use of Bark Mulch in your FREE quotation, it’s worth having this as it protects your new planting from heavy frosts acting as a barrier. It also suppresses weed growth and provides a degree of nutrients to your Flowerbeds and it looks good too. In the summer it also helps retain moisture in the soils of your Flowerbeds for the planting.
